This timelessly beautiful 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 impresses with its low mileage, the highly sought-after G50 gearbox and a harmonious colour combination of navy blue paintwork and a dark blue interior.

The 911 is accident-free, and the paint thickness is largely at factory-original levels. All the wing bolts and body welds are untouched, and the gaps are perfect. The interior is also in excellent condition: the original leather upholstery shows no tears or cracks.

The Porsche was first registered in Japan in 1988 and imported to Germany in 2017. Here, it has had two knowledgeable owners who have invested regularly and extensively in its mechanical maintenance. In addition to the Japanese service booklet, numerous original Japanese service receipts are available, allowing the car’s history, including mileage records, to be traced clearly.

In 2022, the engine was overhauled with a new Mahle piston and cylinder set and has since complied with the specifications of the European model without a catalytic converter. Given the engine’s impressive dynamics, the stated 231 PS is likely to be an understatement. Combined with the high-quality KW suspension, this results in impressive handling.

In August 2024, a comprehensive service worth €8,000 was carried out at our partner workshop. In addition to the standard work in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications, the oil thermostat, various oil lines and the rear axle struts were replaced, amongst other things. The most recent service took place in October 2026.

For many Porsche enthusiasts, a late-model G-series is the ‘sweet spot’ amongst the air-cooled 911s. Low mileage, tasteful styling and flawless mechanics make this example an exceptionally appealing classic.

The car will be handed over with a new general inspection certificate.
